Swim Teaching Courses
Swim Ireland members can book on by using the links below:
- Standard Level 1 Assistant Teacher in Mayfield starting 21st September 2018
- Standard level 2 Swimming Teacher in Mardyke starting 20th September 2018
There will also be Level 1 & 2 Coaching courses in Cork in September. Venues and dates are to be finalised once the Munster Gala Calendar is completed.

Swim Ireland Fin2Fit Instructors Course
- Venue: Leisure World, Bishopstown, Cork
- Date: 9th September 2018
- Time: 9.30am through 16.30pm.
- Cost: €450 (exclusive of credit/debit card payment surcharge of 2%)
Prerequisite for this course are that candidates must hold a Swim Ireland Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification.
Post Course Qualification & Credentials: Successful candidates will receive –
- Swim Ireland Level 2 Mono Fin Teacher Certification
- 3 CPD points.
Candidates will receive:
- Instructor Manual
- Instructor Workbook
- 12 Award Cards
- Access to on-line resources which includes session plans, party plans, template forms, logo’s etc.

Sea Swim 2018
Welcome back!
- There will be a briefing for parents and swimmers of the Barracuda, Marlin and Piranha squad at 10:00 in the Ardfallen Centre which includes the signing of the Code of Conduct for both Swimmers and Parents and details of the schedule for the coming season 2018/19. Coaches will also be in attendance.
- Our annual Sea swim will take place at Myrtleville Beach, all welcome. – Meeting at 15:00 Swim at 15:30.
- Awards Ceremony and Refreshments (for Marlins and Barracuda) at Camden for 16:30 (sharp) till 18:00.
