New Munster Record

Congratulations to Neddie Irwin who set a new Munster record in the 200 BC last weekend at the 2017 Irish Short Course Championships in Lisburn. Neddie came home in a time of 2:11.04 beating the last record of 2:12.53.

Congratulations to Sean O Riordan who traveled to Manchester last weekend to compete in the British Para Nationals and successfully brought home two bronze medals in the 100 FC and 100 BC while achieving an 8 sec PB in his 400 fc.

A huge congratulations from everyone SWSC.

Please note that swimmers whose times are out of date may be entered in Development galas as exhibition swimmers, but will not be entitled to medals.

 

With regard to the rule on swim suits at Development meets please note “FINA approved suits must NOT be worn by any swimmer at a Development meet”

Please see below the Officials Roster for the 2017 Irish Short Course Gala.

 

The slots highlighted above have been assigned by Swim Ireland and must be filled by SWSC. If you are unable to fill your slot please swap with another swimmer as a failure to do this will result in a fine for the club.
